Come for the tips,
stay for the drama.
Welcome to Cruise-Confessions — where the cocktails are cold, the passengers are chaotic, and the stories are too good not to tell.
Today at sea
Your host · Jan DiagalaI share the funniest cruise moments, the unexpected drama, the little luxuries, and the honest tips nobody gives you before you sail away.
Cruise-Confessions is going to be a little bit different. Yes, I will be sharing videos from the cruises I go on, but I will also be giving you tips, tricks, honest thoughts, and probably a few moments where I say, "well… that didn't go quite to plan."
I will be talking about the things I have learned, the things I wish I had known, and the funny little stories that only seem to happen when you are at sea, slightly overdressed for dinner, and trying to remember which deck your cabin is on.
If you love cruising, a bit of cheeky humour, and the kind of stories that make you say "no way that actually happened" — then come aboard.

The ships, the entertainment, the technology, the atmosphere — even the way we cruise has changed. My ability to overpack has not.

Advance notice
Not yet broadcastA podcast is on the way — more cruise stories, more confessions, and the occasional dramatic retelling of embarkation day stress.
Because let's be honest, there is always at least one moment where you wonder if you packed your passport, even though you checked it seventeen times.
Episode one, with Suzi
My friend Suzi, who I met by the lifts in 2015 — as you do. Some people meet friends through work, some through neighbours. I apparently collect lifelong friendships somewhere between Deck Whatever-I-Was-On and a slightly confused lift button.
